how can i create a chat

I saw that the extension has a default chat but I don't know how to make it appear, try placing gms_chat ("text",0) but the chat appears but I can't write if it doesn't show that I'm writing text

This seems to be a follow-up to:https://gamemakerserver.com/nl/docs/script/gms_chat/#reply-6697 - I think I understand what you're trying to do now.

You need to call gms_chat_toggle to enable the built-in chat. Then, call gms_chat_bind_pos, gms_chat_bind_view or gms_chat_bind_room to set the position of the chat.
