Introducing one-time passwords

Starting today, you can log in to games using a 'one-time password' instead of your account password. This prevents developers from using your password for malicious purposes.

The feature is enabled automatically. Simply enter your username in the login window inside the game, then open this site and navigate to [Your username] -> One-time passwords. You can use the one-time password listed for the game instead of your one-time password to log in.

For developers: you'll need to fire off at least one gms_login_player_has_account(name) to make sure the one-time password shows up. If you're using the default login window, this is done automatically.

Thanks for the update. Really handy. When could we expect a GameMaker Studio 2 version? With the remake right?

Yup. The rewrite will support anything between GM8.0 and GM:Studio 2.
