I wanted to change name but from what i have understood i can't and also can't delete this account.
So do i just need to create a new account?
Is it possible to transfer all my game data in the new account?

Correct, you can create a new account to "change" your username. Unfortunately it is not possible to move stored data between accounts, so you'd have to start from an empty save again.
