Hello,
as for the official documentation, GMS2 does not support .gex files anymore.
When I download GameMaker Server it only gives me .gex. How do I import it into Game Maker Studio 2 (lastest version)?

Unfortunately GameMaker Server currently does not support GM:Studio 2.
make quick update and instead of sending game id send login and password that you set as variables and then use this on page and bam ezy quick update for gms 2. that would be coolest thing ever.

Last I checked, it would be much more work to get the extension to work properly. It's not just the GameID that needs an alternative.
